Very Rare and wonderful, original 1920’s Chromolithograph Halloween Postcard published by the Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, Ohio in outstanding, original condition.
This wonderful Postcard measures approx. 5 1/2” by 3 1/2” and has a divided back. It features a charming image of two young children carving pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns. Text on the Postcard reads simply “Halloween Greetings”. The Postcard carries the mark of the publisher on the reverse – Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati.
This wonderful 1920’s Halloween Postcard is unconditionally guaranteed original and of the period. It is NOT a reprint, reproduction, reissue or modern printing but an original Postcard printed and distributed in the mid 1920’s. It carries our unconditional return privilege and lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
This rare and wonderful, 1920’s Gibson Art Co. Chromolithograph Halloween Postcard is in excellent++ condition. It is not postally used and has no writing on the reverse. The colors are bright and vibrant and the card is clean and crisp with just a hint of uniform age toning. The corners are sharp and overall the Postcard is exceptionally well preserved.
