Mappin and Webb Sterling Silver Coffeepot Sheffield 1906

Description

Nice tall coffeepot made by the noted silversmiths Mappin and Webb of Sheffield and London.  This pot is in a Georgian revival style with dark wood handle and finial.  The pot is about 9 3/4″ tall and weighs 566g.  Marked with full hallmarks for Sheffield for 1906 on the side of the pot, bears a silver standard mark on the lid and is engraved for Mappin and Webb of London on the base.  There are some small dings on the sides of the pot, please the photos.  The top finial spins when it shouldn’t and there is a small knob that is broken off from the handle.
